Congratulations, Emily and Adrian! Morgan is beautiful, and I’m so glad that things went well. You guys are going to be great parents. We are expecting Perner #3(that makes it sound like we have three kids, doesn’t it? Oh well ) this summer. I probably won’t give birth in a tub (it seems like a good route to me, but they don’t seem that excited about it in Utah) but I’ll definitely try to follow your “Boo-yah!” example Congratulations again!

When my son James was born, it took like 5 hours (maybe 4) between no contraction at all and his actual birth. Me and my husband were at the hospital for the last Lamaze class, and I noticed a little water running down. They sent me to the maternity floor and yes, the water had broken. I don’t even know when the contractions started, it was all a blur…

it is such an amazing experience to become a parent. Thank you for the detailed story cause that is just more exciting and really makes us all feel like we’re there with you. After reading all your stuff I think the next time we have a kid I’m going to look into that kind of stuff compared to the hospital. Last time i definetly needed to be there with all my complications but hopefully not the next time.

I’m sure you already have, but you are going to spend hours just staring at your little girl. You’ll just want to cuddle her and take tons of pics and videos. Go for it. They grow up so fast. Enjoy every minute of it!

She's absolutely beautiful! Good work guys. Sounds like everything went well and I love that you were able to go home that night, instead of a few day stay in a hospital...I might give more thought to this birthing center thing now...hmmm.
